中外合作大学

中国六所中外合办的大学分别为：西交利物浦大学、宁波诺丁汉大学、上海纽约大学、昆山杜克大学、温州肯恩大学，香港中文大学 。

西交利物浦大学：由西安交通大学和英国利物浦大学合作于2004年在苏州创立的，是中国第一所强强合作，并以理、工、管起步的中外合作大学。

宁波诺丁汉大学：由英国诺丁汉大学与浙江万里学院合作创办，引进了世界一流大学优质教学资源的中外合作大学。

上海纽约大学：是国家教育部正式批准的、第一所中美合作举办的国际化大学，也是纽约大学全球教育体系的组成部分。

昆山杜克大学：是美国顶尖著名高等学府杜克大学和武汉大学共同合办的世界一流研究型综合大学，主攻精英教育和前瞻科研。

温州肯恩大学：由美国肯恩大学与温州大学合作创办，引进了美国大学优质教学资源、具有独立校区的中外合作大学。

中外合作办学的教育模式

1、 2+2模式：即在国内学两年，国外学两年。学生在国内须完成国外大学一、二年级的大部分课程，包括一些专业课程，其余课程在国外大学完成并获得学士学位

2、3+1模式：即在国内学三年，国外学一年。学生在国内须完成国外大学前三年的大部分课程，最后一年到国外大学完成部分专业课程并获得学士学位

3、4+0模式：即完全不出国的“本土留学”。所有本科课程全部在国内学习，外国合作院校提供教材、师资，按照外国院校的本科计划授课，最后获得学士学位。
